一年一度的文化盛事 Powell Street Festival 將於 8月1及2日迎來別具意義的50週年，自創辦以來，Powell Street Festival 一直是溫哥華八月長週末最具代表性的日本文化活動，每年都吸引大批本地市民及遊客到訪溫哥華歷史悠久的 Powell Street 社區。

The annual cultural celebration Powell Street Festival will take place on August 1 and 2, marking its meaningful 50th anniversary this year. Since its inception in 1977, Powell Street Festival has become one of Vancouver’s most iconic Japanese Canadian cultural events during the BC Day long weekend, attracting many residents and visitors to Vancouver’s historic Powell Street community.
This year’s festival will offer an exciting Japanese cultural experience, featuring powerful taiko performances, sumo and martial arts demonstrations, traditional and contemporary music and dance, and a variety of Japanese food etc.
