宇宙人今次的新專輯《DEAR YOU》，遠赴東京以「盤帶」同步錄音，捕捉了三人最直接的 Playing，保留演奏發生當下的真實痕跡！  

從成團初期的衝勁，到男孩成為男人的摸索，宇宙人走過不同階段，始終用最熟悉的溝通語言──「音樂」──與世界的電波產生連結。距離前作《理想狀態》發行已四年，三位團員陸續抵達不惑之年，也察覺自己正開始用不同的速度與世界相處。日子變得更有重量，讓他們更懂得把握當下。當身體不再只是一路變強，更明白力氣有限。  

在這段醞釀作品逐漸成形的過程裡，與影集《欠你的那場婚禮》合作主題曲及插曲，意外成為加速創作的關鍵。原先散落的詞曲 Demo 碎片，從想像落到實際，逐步勾勒出新專輯的輪廓。宇宙人開始學會以不同的距離觀看自己，既身在其中，也能偶爾退一步，看見正在發生的事。  

最新的專輯《DEAR YOU》，收錄的正是這些觀看而來的片段，包括一閃而過的念頭、人與人相遇留下的感受，以及生活裡沒有答案的情緒。團員們也不再急著證明自己是什麼，亦無需再定義「宇宙人是什麼風格」。只要是主唱小玉寫出來的歌，他能唱得出來，能和團員一起編得出來，宇宙人能演得出來，它就是宇宙人的歌。

〈DEAR YOU〉專輯標題曲，曲風受到 Motown、Soul 等復古音色影響，卻不刻意復刻任何年代，而是將不同養分自然揉進宇宙人的創作語言，成為樂團如今難以被單一曲風定義的「混血感」代表作。編曲更加入近年作品少見的長笛 Solo，由阿奎驚喜演奏，讓歌曲在原有的旋律之外，再次拓展出意想不到的層次。歌詞則從成年後的愛情觀出發，心動依然存在，只是不再只憑感覺向前，多了對自身的理解與拿捏，唱出屬於大人的情感分寸。

Cosmos People (宇宙人) has officially announced their new album, DEAR YOU, marking their return four years after their acclaimed release Ideal State. Recorded in Tokyo using reel-to-reel tape to capture the raw, live playing of the three band members, the project reflects a shift into a new stage of life as the members enter their 40s. Moving away from early impulsive drive, the album embraces a grounded, mature outlook that acknowledges physical limits and the weight of adult experiences.

The creative process gained momentum following their collaboration on the theme and insert songs for the drama series The Wedding You Owe Me, which helped transform scattered demos into a cohesive body of work.

In this album, the band steps back from trying to prove themselves or define a style, focusing instead on capturing fleeting thoughts, unanswerable emotions, and personal encounters. The title track, "DEAR YOU," highlights this evolution by incorporating Motown and Soul influences into a modern hybrid sound, complete with a surprise flute solo by guitarist A-Kuei. Lyrically, it touches on a mature perspective on love that balances romantic passion with self-awareness and emotional boundaries.
