The South Vancouver Cultural Project (PCSur Vancouver), invites the Latin American community to commemorate and celebrate the 11th anniversary of the Latin American Sopa Sur Monument, which extends its strength to embrace the memory of a community leader who worked and made history: Eduardo Olivares.

In the heart of the Latin American monument and of its community in this consecration of a memorial plaque to the merit of the leader and activist, defender of just causes of Latin Americans, creator and host of the radio program Latino Soy. We summon the Latin American community of this region, conquered by a voice that for many years reached their homes, like a drop of hope: the voice of Eduardo Olivares, transparent, wrapped in joy, concern or an alert of solidarity. The unforgettable voice of our leader, friend, brother and adviser of the PCSur Vancouver movement.

Organizations, people, businesses and artists from all disciplines are called upon to join this event to honor and thank Eduardo Olivares. A much deserved tribute to a man who made the needs of many people his own.
