加拿大中文電台FM961六月通過電台呼籲及特備節目為加拿大奧比斯（Orbis Canada）籌款之外，一眾DJ、節目主持、新聞主播、SUNSHINE BOYZ AND GIRLZ 及各部門代表，亦齊齊參與 「Plane Pull for Sight」慈善活動，以實際行動支持全球眼科醫療發展，彰顯團隊默契和合作精神。

當天風和日麗，大家齊心協力、互相打氣，在機場跑道上把一架重達 60 噸的波音757貨機拉動20尺，完成這個充滿意義的慈善挑戰。之後大夥兒更繼續投入大會悉心安排的 team building 遊戲，在輕鬆愉快的氣氛中以腦力、智力一起過關，獲得總分更高據全場排行榜季軍，令團隊雀躍不已。

「Plane Pull for Sight」目標，是為加拿大奧比斯提高公眾關注，推動全球眼科醫療服務，幫助更多有需要的人獲得可負擔、可持續的眼科治療與培訓資源。而全球唯一的 「飛行眼科醫院」（Flying Eye Hospital）是特別改裝，飛往世界各地的眼科教學醫院，為醫護人員提供專業培訓，並協助提升當地眼科醫療能力。加拿大中文電台參與「Plane Pull for Sight」，希望透過媒體力量，宣揚眼睛健康的重要性，以及奧比斯在全球防盲工作上的努力。

Fairchild Radio FM961 supported Orbis Canada this June through on-air appeals, special programming, and participation in the “Plane Pull for Sight” charity event. DJs, program hosts, news anchors, SUNSHINE BOYZ AND GIRLZ, and representatives from different departments joined together to pull a 60-ton Boeing 757 cargo plane 20 feet on the airport runway, showing great teamwork and company spirit. We also took part in fun team-building games afterwards and proudly earned the third place on the overall leaderboard. Through this meaningful event, Fairchild Radio hopes to raise public awareness for Orbis Canada, promote the importance of eye health, and support Orbis’ global efforts to fight avoidable blindness.
