Shaping Peace Together

 Taking place on November 27^th 7pm, November 28^th and 29^th 2pm

Global Peace Alliance would like to invite you to the annual Peace Festival, in honour of the 75^th anniversary of the United Nations. Due to Covid, they had to adapt to a virtual festival which is now held over three days. It is the fifth of GPA’s peace festivals.

Made not only culturally entertaining, but educational and pertinent to the issues of our time. The hope this festival will inspire, showcasing the world’s diversity, resilience and compassion during this epic pandemic. Free for all to enjoy a wonderful array of artists through song and dance, such as the Wild Moccasin Dancers, Glisha, Roma Gry, and others from Chinese, Nepali, Vietnamese, Taiwanese and other communities and schools. 

BC Society will listen to social justice advocates, prominent authors and speakers of our time such as Seth Klein one the founders of the Canadian Center for Policy Alternatives, Trenton Pierre and Rochelle Prasad, too many to list here. As before, we will recognize the winners of our 2020 Peace themed Literary and Visual Arts contests.
