TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival

Coastal Jazz presents the 33rd TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival bringing together the world’s best artists together with audiences over ten days, June 22 - July 1, 2018

 

This year’s headliners include Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Macy Gray, Kamasi Washington, Bonobo, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Jerry Douglas Band, St.Paul and the Broken Bones, GoGo Penguin, Julian Lage Trio, and Russell Malone Quartet SPECIAL INITIATIVES during the festival FRANKIE’S JAZZ CLUB to Host Nightly Jam Sessions DOWNTOWN JAZZ WEEKEND at the fully redesigned Georgia Plaza 150 FREE CONCERTS with Red Baraat, Ghost-Note, and Gwyneth Herbert.

This year, there will be over 150 free shows at various venues, featuring a diverse lineup that includes international headliners and local favourites.

Artists performing free concerts include Red Baraat, Kevin Breit with Johnny Goldtooth and the Chevy Casonovas, Gwyneth Herbert, Alsarah & the Nubatones, Ghost Note, Maciej Obara Quartet, Tony Wilson’s Tribute to Sonny Greenwich, Wayne Horvitz Snowghost Trio with Peggy Lee, and the François Bourassa Quartet.
